I’ve also corresponded with Frank Wilson and Maxine for some time. Happened to see the link you provided to Frank regarding the self-published Daemon and its profile in Wired. You might find the links below interesting - for my own technothriller “Rad Decision”, endorsed by Wired editor Stewart Brand, and, perhaps more to the point, a link to an article I wrote for the British online magazine LabLit.com on the difficulties in publishing such a work.
